Goodbye to Summer

We’ve had a fairly busy summer with lots of local day trips including: The Crayola Factory, Dorney Park, Grandma & Grandpa’s house, Knoebels, The Poconos, Delaware Water Gap, Six Flags, Connecticut Beaches, Bronx & Central Park Zoo‘s, NYC, Bear Mt. State Park, Pool, Gedney Park, Leonard Park…can’t really complain.  This weekend we went back to Pumpkin Hollow, Miranda and I for the day and the boys stayed to ‘camp’ with Grammie.  I love it when no one is fighting over the Wii or the DS and we can just play outside.

Here’s a little of what we did at Pumpkin Hollow:

Crossed bridges...

Walked in the woods...

Played in the creek...

Stepped in the mud...

Saw a hungry baby bird...

Looked for crayfish...

Swam in the water hole...

Sat with Grammie...

Got a little too close to a squirrel...

Made new friends...

Read a good book...or rolled down the hill...

Climbed on rocks...

Planted grass seed in the garden...

Saw a rainbow...

Thanks for a great Summer of 2010…bring on Fall!
